Rowdy is packing heat just like Daryl Dixon.
But Daryl Dixon doesn't have quite the amount of NERF items Rowdy has.
Of course it isn't all NERF here. It is weapons in general that are taking over his bedroom, my living room, well.....basically my life. And my sanity. I had to come up with a storage solution that would serve two purposes: Rowdy could access it and keep it organized. And it would get all this stuff out of his bedroom because it was taking over.
I looked up some ideas on Pinterest and low and behold - a solution to my problem! The materials required could be purchased at any Home Depot or Lowes. But, luckily, there was existing peg board and pegs in my garage from the previous owners (namely, Rowdy's Grandparents). So this was not only a great idea but it was free! And we all know how much I love free.
So we gathered all his weaponry (keeping swords in his toy box in his bedroom, but you could add those as well!), and piled them in the garage. We then got to work!
And the end result was BRILLIANT! And it is Rowdy approved. I give you the Arsenal:
He decided to keep his clips in the yard sale purchased ammo boxes he loves so much, so those are on the floor. I also had some buckets from IKEA that were collecting dust in the garage (that I never used for their intended purchase) so we hung them on some pegs towards the bottom and they house the different types of "bullets" for his guns.
Now after we completed this he recieved 3 more guns from Birthday gift cards so I will have to reconfigure it. I have a feeling it will be reconfigured ALOT. But that's ok. Because when those Zombies show up we will be ready - who needs Daryl Dixon anyway?
